A home, beyond the purchase

The keys open the door. The rest takes shape little by little.

In this empty living room, the light has already found its place. It travels through the windows, draws rectangles on the wood and shifts throughout the day. Before choosing a sofa, it is worth pausing to watch it.
A home can begin this way too: by observing what is already there before deciding what to add.
Then come the more interesting questions. Where do you sit when you want a quiet moment? Do you enjoy cooking while friends gather in the living room? Are there books that follow you through every move? A family piece of furniture, a painting bought on a journey, something you would never part with?
These details help reveal how a space might become your own.
Tailormade Ibiza grew out of Ingrid Ruscelli’s sensibility and her background in fashion. That experience taught her to observe how a person moves, what they choose and where they feel at ease. In interiors, that perspective meets everyday life: the proportions of a table, the feel of a fabric, the distance between two chairs.
The name carries this way of working within it. First comes listening, then giving form. There is also room for the things that make a home less predictable: an unusual object, a much-loved colour, a combination that belongs only to the person who lives there.
The furnishing proposal for this living room explores one possibility. Seating gathers around the fireplace, the palette echoes the warmth of the floor and the garden remains present through the windows. Looking at the rendering, you can begin to imagine an unhurried Sunday, a conversation that lingers, a book left on the coffee table.
The furnished room is a digital visualisation: a proposal to use as a starting point, to adapt and develop.
After the purchase, this imagination meets very practical work. Priorities need to be understood, the right professionals found, choices made, dimensions and schedules checked, deliveries and installations followed through. Tailormade Ibiza supports the agreed stages, keeping a thread between the initial idea and the many decisions that bring it to life.
The loveliest moment comes when the rooms begin to take on the habits of the people who live in them. When an armchair becomes a favourite place and something appears on the table that nobody anticipated in the design.
That is when the home begins to tell a story of its own.
